Based in Warsaw but international in outlook, we bring together people from different backgrounds and walks of life through small English-language conversation groups and one-to-one sessions, online and in person.
All ages and levels of English are welcome.

ABOUT ME
For most of my adult life I’ve earned a living asking questions, writing things down and pretending to know what was going on. Journalism, universities and editing paid the bills. This site is an attempt to return to something simpler: conversations, stories, ideas and the strange pleasure of thinking out loud with other people.
OUT OF THE LOOP
Part memoir, part reportage, part argument with myself, Out of the Loop follows my attempt to rejoin the human race. Along the way are journalists, football, borders, mothers, unavailable women, bad decisions and the occasional moment of clarity.
